CONTROL TEST:

The examinee in Zenkutsu Dachi executes a GYAKU ZUKI (reverse punch-front stance) to an object that is moved up and down at a maximum speed by the examiner, and the point of focus should be to a small distance of the object to make contact. The execution requires the usage of a maximum reach applying GYAKU ZUKI (reverse punch-front stance) in the correct position.

BALANCE TEST (Kamae)

  • YOKO GERI KEAGE (side snap kick-horse stance)  – YOKO GERI KEKOMI (side thrust kick-horse stance)  - To the side

     Heian 1-2-3-4-5 and Tekki 1 - Obligatory
     Knowledge of other Katas - acceptable

KUMITE

  • Light sparring:  3 rounds of 3 minutes 

Physical Conditioning: 

  • 3 sets of 20 pushups • 4 sets of 50 sit-ups • 3 sets of 30 burpees 

COMPETITION: 

The evaluation will be performed in a competition setting in which the student’s performance will be evaluated by an instructor.
